Team Member Spotlight: Maggie

Maggie, a Project Manager here at OneSpace, is from Mascoutah, IL who now lives in St. Louis. Maggie is a grammar geek who loves the St. Louis Cardinals, Gilmore Girls, and (of course) her adorable 3-month-old daughter. Besides being a fantastic project manager, Maggie is the embodiment of a positive force and has the cheeriest disposition of anyone you will ever meet. She started with OneSpace way back in 2009 as an intern and you can tell that she truly loves working here.

Maggie just returned from maternity leave, and we are all jumping for joy to have her back in the office brightening our days. Here are a few fun facts about Maggie!

Q: What is your favorite OneSpace value?

My favorite OneSpace Value is “Team above self.” It is the value that I see most in all of our team members.

Q: Do you have any pets? Family?

No pets, but I have 3 brothers and a sister (I’m the youngest), and I just had my first child in August!

Q: If you were trapped on an island, what 3 things would you bring and why?

I would bring my husband and my daughter, some matches because they would be handy, and vodka. I know that sounds strange, but it is medicinal, and it would help keep me sane.

Q: You are the new addition to the crayon box–what color are you and why?

Some sort of bright yellow, but not obnoxious to the point that you have to look away from it. Just something fun and cheery.

Q: What do you want your legacy to be?

I want to be known as a really nice and caring person. I want people to remember me and say “oh she was really great.”

Q: What was your dream job growing up?

To be a movie trailer maker.

Q: If you could be any car, what car would you be and why?

I love my Volkswagen Jetta hybrid; it’s smart, fast and helps the environment. That’s the kind of car I would want to be.

Q: If someone named a sandwich after you, what would be on that sandwich?

It really doesn’t matter what is on the sandwich as long as it has good bread. I LOVE bread and that is the most important part of the sandwich for me.
